In 2023 alone, we disbursed 30 awards totalling $24,500, aiding students in their pursuit of higher education. A dedicated review committee, drawn from team members across each community, ensures a fair and transparent selection process, highlighting our commitment to nurturing the academic ambitions of our youth​​.

Hands-On Learning: The MU Traineeship Program

MMBC’s Traineeship Initiative underscores our commitment to empowering the community with hands-on experience and tangible skills. Specialized Skills: Wind Technician Training

Recognizing the need for specialized skills in our community, we've initiated a comprehensive wind technician training program in partnership with Collegia College. This program, designed to certify residents as skilled technicians, is a testament to our investment in the future of renewable energy and our community's role. By exploring the possibility of local training opportunities, we aim to make education more accessible and successful for our community members, ensuring they are ready for the construction of the MU2 project and beyond​​.
