Information Sessions on Wind Turbine Technician Training - this week

Community members of Gesgapegiag, Gespeg, and Listuguj are invited to an information session about wind turbine technician training opportunities with Nordex, the wind turbine maintenance provider for the Mesgi’g Ugju’s’n (MU) 2 Expansion Project in Escuminac, QC.

‍

This session will cover:
• The Wind Turbine Technician training program
• Career opportunities in renewable energy
• How to apply and prepare for the training

‍

Ideal candidates are:
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work
• Interested in renewable energy and long-term career growth
• Physically fit and safety-minded
• Team-oriented and open to travel for work
• Hold a Class 5 driver’s license and have no criminal record

When: In-person sessions November 5 and 6.
